Tell City Football’s run game continues to thrive despite a slew of injuries

TELL CITY, Ind. (WFIE) – Friday night is another exciting night of high school football in the Tri-State, and across the Hoosier State there are many exciting semifinals, including one in Tell City.

The Marksmen will host Salem in the Class 2A Sectional 40 semifinals. Now Tell City has really been hit hard by injuries this season. Two of the biggest injuries came to the Terry twins: Noah and Landon. Noah was lost for the season, but Landon has a chance to return to action tomorrow.

Both are standout running backs, but in their absence the running game hasn’t missed a beat. That’s thanks to a very stout offensive line, as well as tailbacks Brandon Casebolt and Braxten Biever, as well as quarterback Max Fortwendel, who ran for over 300 yards against Tecumseh just a few weeks ago.

Tell City and Salem kick off at 6:30 PM CT, in Tell City.
