Police release suspect descriptions in Tay Township home invasion

Suspects entered Bayview Avenue, Midland Bay Woods residence with a firearm and took physical control of the two occupants

MIDLAND – Investigators would like to thank to community for their continued assistance in this home invasion investigation and would like to provide the following information about the three suspects that has been obtained thus far.

  • Suspect 1 – white male, tall, skinny build, 25-30 years of age, wearing dark colored clothing, possibly short brown hair and wearing black ‘Mechanix’ brand gloves with white writing and had possession of a firearm
  • Suspect 2 – white male, obese build, 25-30 years of age, possibly reddish hair, wearing a red and white hat, gloves and dark clothing
  • Suspect 3 – white male, 25-30 years

MIDLAND – Investigators from the Southern Georgian Bay OPP Detachment are seeking assistance from the public after the OPP Communication Centre received a complaint of a home invasion that occurred on Oct. 25 at approximately 4:41 am

Three unknown male suspects entered a Bayview Avenue, Midland Bay Woods, Tay Township residence with a firearm and took physical control of the two occupants while in the home and left a short time later after searching the residence. The occupants are uninjured but shaken by the incident.

Investigation is ongoing with the assistance of officers from the following OPP specialty units, Forensic Identification Services (FIS), Canine (K-9), Emergency Response Team (ERT), Major Crime.
