The jury finds the Pa man guilty of using a research laboratory as a front to make fentanyl

WILLIAMSPORT – A Montour County man has been found guilty on charges that he used his scientific research company as a front to make fentanyl and its variants.

A U.S. Middle District Court jury deliberated less than two hours Monday evening before finding Anthony D. Bressi, 52, of Danville, guilty of conspiracy to manufacture and distribute a controlled substance and possession with intent to do the same.

The charges were the result of an FBI investigation and a June 8, 2019, search of Bressi’s SHIVA Science and Technology Group near Lewisburg.
