Oregon State is finalizing its 2025 football schedule and a remarkable twist occurs

On Wednesday, Oregon State announced its entire 2025 football schedule, which includes seven home games and something the Beavers haven’t done since 1945.

OSU will play Washington State twice next season. The Beavers and Cougars agree to a home-home schedule in 2025 and will play in Corvallis on November 1 and Pullman on November 29.

Oregon State hasn’t played Washington State twice in the regular season since 1945, when college football resumed after World War II. The Beavers also played Oregon and Washington in home games in 1945.

Also new to the previously announced schedule are games against Tulsa, Sam Houston State and Lafayette. OSU travels to Tulsa to play the Golden Hurricane on November 15. The Beavers will host FCS school Lafayette on October 18 and Sam Houston State on November 8.

The contracts with Tulsa and Lafayette are single-game contracts. OSU and Sam Houston State have agreed to play at home, with the Beavers playing an away game in 2031.

Oregon State will have bye weeks on October 11 and November 22.

The Beavers’ schedule includes California, Fresno State, Houston, Lafayette, Wake Forest, Washington State and Sam Houston. Road games include Texas Tech, Oregon, Appalachian State, Tulsa and Washington State.

The 2025 season marks the second consecutive year that Oregon State will play seven games at Reser Stadium.

Oregon State plays Sam Houston State, Tulsa, Lafayette and Appalachian State for the first time in school history.
