President Prabowo’s office begins a military retreat to strengthen unity

Jakarta. Ministers of the Red and White Cabinets of President Prabowo Subianto went to a briefing at the Military Academy (Akmil) in Magelang, Central Java. Departing from the norm, the ministers boarded the Air Force C-130J Super Hercules A-1340 military aircraft instead of a charter flight.

Meanwhile, President Prabowo departed on the presidential plane, while Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka departed on a separate plane.

According to Beritasatu.com, ministers and deputy ministers began arriving at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta around 11 a.m. on Thursday. Once everyone was present, they boarded the plane together and the plane took off around 1:40 p.m

Before the ministers’ departure, the deputy ministers departed on an Air Force Boeing A-7306.

All ministers and deputy ministers wore matching uniforms consisting of white shirts, black trousers and blue caps.

Upon arrival in Magelang, cabinet members will not stay in hotels, but will sleep in tents prepared at Akmil at the beginning of their briefings.

President Prabowo plans to gather all 109 ministers, deputy ministers and heads of state agencies in Magelang for a four-day retreat that begins on Thursday.

He hopes that this training will instill the spirit of courage and heroism in ministers. The briefing is also intended to strengthen the unity of Prabowo and his team for the next five years of government.

A total of 4,138 Indonesian military (TNI) and police personnel were deployed to ensure the security of the ministerial retreat.
